Dental Implants

We are pleased to be able to offer dental implants at Portland Dental Practice through our visiting implant dentist.

There are many options to replace missing teeth including

• Removable dentures,
• Conventional and adhesive bridgework and
• Dental Implants.

While these are all excellent options to restore your dentition, some common considerations from our patients include;

• Removable dentures must be removed overnight and for cleaning, and are not fixed in place
• Bridgework is fixed in place to the adjacent teeth, which can put the remaining teeth under additional stress over a long period of time

Implants have the significant advantage of being fixed in your mouth without weakening nearby teeth. They can be used to replace single or multiple missing teeth with a long-lasting, functional and natural solution.
